From software products to intelligent field systems.
My foundation is in web, mobile, cloud, search, automation, and applied image-processing research. I am directing that experience toward digital tools that help people understand and manage living agricultural environments.
An agricultural digital twin is a continuously updated relationship between a physical plantation, observations, structured data, models, and human decisions. The work here separates what I have built from the system I am building toward.
Closed-source application
Oil Palm Cultivation Application
A mobile-first information experience designed around oil palm cultivation knowledge. The application is existing work; the digital-twin extensions shown here are a future direction.
The project organizes cultivation information into a field-friendly Ionic application with Angular routing and Capacitor mobile integration.
Verified foundation
- Ionic and Angular architecture
- Capacitor mobile integration
- Information, category, article, and gallery routes
- Oil palm cultivation information experience
Product intent
- Make specialist knowledge easier to navigate on a phone
- Connect articles, categories, imagery, and crop timing
- Create a base for contextual field tools
This portfolio exposes no private code, internal content, or unapproved screenshots. The interface is an original visual reconstruction, not a production screenshot.
From cultivation guide to digital twin.
Each capability builds on the last. Existing work is marked separately from conceptual future system layers.

A twin is a loop, not a snapshot.
This conceptual stack maps my software foundation to the layers I am applying and exploring. It is not a deployed plantation system.

Methods that travel across domains.
Published work in medical image processing and secure media systems informs how I think about imagery, classification, and data integrity. It did not study agriculture directly.

Technologies support the work; capabilities describe what they make possible.
Software engineering grounded in useful systems.
I am Ramnarayan Kotagiri, a JavaScript and full-stack engineer with experience spanning Angular applications, mobile products, backend services, cloud delivery, search, automation, and applied research.
My GitHub profile has long stated an interest in bringing digital capabilities to small-scale farmers. Oil palm cultivation software gave that direction a concrete domain. I am now developing the geospatial, sensing, imagery, and machine-learning perspective needed to think beyond static information tools and toward living digital systems.
I am interested in work where software has to respect field context, uncertain data, and the judgment of the people making decisions.
Build something that connects software to the field.
Open to conversations around agricultural technology, digital twins, Angular and mobile products, GIS and field intelligence, full-stack engineering, and applied research.
